Tillandsia, or "air plant," is a soil-less plant that absorbs moisture and nutrients through its leaves. Native to tropical forests, it thrives on bright indirect light and good air circulation. Water by misting 2–3 times per week, or soak in water for 20 minutes once a week. It is remarkably resilient — can survive 5–7 days without water, making it an ideal travel companion that arrives fresh even after a flight in checked luggage.
